Twenty-five years of sound, struggle, and reinvention.
Nemesis is a Bangladeshi alternative rock band formed in Dhaka in 1999. From rooftop gigs and burned CDs to stadium stages and studio albums, the band has shaped the sound of a generation.
Born in the summer of 1999 when a group of school friends had time, instinct, and a shared obsession with music, Nemesis cut their teeth on the underground circuit before breaking through with "Obocheton" in 2003. Their debut album Onneshon (2006) established them as a force in Bangladeshi rock. Six years later, Tritio Jatra (2011) and its hit single "Kobe" brought mainstream recognition. Gonojowar (2017) and VIP (2025) continue a legacy built on sharp songwriting, relentless live energy, and an unwavering commitment to the craft.
